The Saskatoon Police Guns and Gangs Unit has arrested a 23 year old man and a 30 year old woman after a firearms investigation.  Around five o’clock Wednesday afternoon, police began their investigation at a house on the 700 block of 8th Street East. Four adults and two youths were removed without incident. The youths have since been released. The adults were all placed under arrest however only two have been charged. Traffic was restricted in the area during the investigation. As of about eight o’clock last night, police were still on the scene and were expecting to be there for a couple of more hours. Several firearms charges will be laid against the man and woman in regards to a shotgun that was seized.  Both were also found to be in breach of previous release conditions. They will be in court Thursday.
