The Prime Minister spoke with the Chair of the Council of the Federation yesterday (Mon) in preparation for today’s working meeting of First Ministers on health care. A news release from the Prime Minister’s Office, says Chair of the Federation, Manitoba Premier Heather Stefanson and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau talked about the need to work together to improve health care, and the federal government’s objectives in getting that done. Trudeau noted today’s meeting is to launch discussions with provinces and territories on the Canada Health Transfer funding.
