Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen will be the first Canadian to ever fly to the Moon. He’ll take part in Artemis II, a crewed flight test of the Orion spacecraft.
From London, Ontario Jeremy Hansen was a fighter pilot before joining CSA, and currently works with NASA on astronaut training and mission operations. This will be Hansen’s first mission in space.
The Artemis II crew will include Reid Wiseman, Commander; Victor Glover, Pilot; Christina Koch, Mission Specialist; Jeremy Hanson, Mission Specialist.
This is the first crewed mission going to the moon since 1972.
