Murals have been completed in Downtown Saskatoon thanks to some local artists. Kent Ness and Josh Jacobson painted murals that are located at the corner of 1st Avenue South and 19th Street across from Midtown Plaza.
Executive Director of Downtown Saskatoon Brent Penner is hoping that it’ll be a nice addition to the downtown area provide residents with enjoyment. Penner says, “We look at this as a main focal entry point for so many people coming in and out of downtown every day.”

looking back on the past while the other rider looks on ahead towards a brighter future. The mural painted by Josh Jacobson is of prairie lilies that used many bright colours and represent the province as well as the cultural heritage and history.
Both artists began work on the murals at the start of September until the end of the month into the first weekend of October, and are now fully completed.
