The City of Saskatoon has the opportunity to acquire just over 78 acres of riverbank land, thanks to a donation from P.R. Developments. A report to the Finance Committee tomorrow afternoon (Wed) says the majority of the land would be donated to the City with the requirement that it would be open for walking, biking and other riverbank related activities. The land is around Peturrson’s Ravine and extends further north.

Administration has entered into a conditional agreement with P.R. Developments for the donation, and if City Council later approves it, the City will issue a charitable tax receipt for $515,000.
