RCMP from both Maidstone and Kitscoty, Alberta RCMP, EMS and the local fire department responded to a plane crash near the Saskatchewan/Alberta border on Wednesday morning around 10. The 46-year-old man piloting the plane, who was the lone occupant was declared dead at the scene. The Transportation Safety Board says on its website that a team of investigators has been deployed to the crash near Lloydminster.
