A serious assault has now turned into a suspicious death investigation, as the man who was found injured on the Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation on Tuesday has died in hospital.

The deceased is identified as 35-year-old Shoshone Morningchild. He was found at around 9:00am on Tuesday outside of a home on the First Nation. An autopsy has been ordered.

Anyone with information regarding the assault is asked to contact Saskatchewan RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
