Elections Canada has updated its website with new preliminary numbers, as all special ballots have now been counted.
Nearly 44 per cent of Canadians voted for the Liberal Party, whereas just 41 per cent of the country voted to support the Conservatives.
The site also updated the national voter turnout percentage from 67.36 per cent to 68.67 per cent, a jump from 62.25 per cent in 2021, however it must be considered that that election was held during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Saskatchewan specific voter turnout ranked at 67.83 per cent, and in Saskatoon even higher at 69.69 per cent.
The Liberals still have a minority government, as just 169 seats were secured.
