A suspicious death on the final day of July is being investigated as a homicide.

Around 12:40am, Saskatoon Police were called to an address in the 300 block of Avenue J South for a report of an injured person. A 27-year-old woman was found dead on the scene. At the time, the death was viewed as suspicious but has now been upgraded to a homicide.

The investigation continues and anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crimestoppers.
