The City of Saskatoon is asking city residents to provide feedback on its draft Strategic Plan that will encompass 2026-2029. The current Strategic Plan will be retired at year’s end.
In a news release the City describes the strategic plan as a roadmap guiding their efforts, “to build a safer, more inclusive Saskatoon with a resilient economy that meets the evolving needs of the city’s residents.”
The strategic plan outlines the initiatives and actions that Administration will undertake to achieve Council’s goals and meet community expectations. Jeff Jorgenson, City Manager says, “This new plan builds on our past work and aims to address key issues and challenges that come with rapid growth.”
The strategic plan is intended to reflect City Council priorities and community input while including specific outcomes, measurable indicators, and targeted actions.
