Restaurant fight sends one to hospital
Saskatoon Police responded to a fight and stabbing inside a restaurant in the 900 block of 22nd Street West Tuesday night.
The call came in shortly before 9 p.m. and police say the suspect fled in a vehicle before police arrived. The investigation took them to a home in the 1300 block of 20th Street West.
A 40-year-old man was transported to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. A 60-year-old man is charged with Aggravated Assault.
Stolen vehicle used in robbery
The Saskatoon Police Service says around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at 20th Street and Avenue D South officers saw a vehicle known to be stolen as well as having been involved in a robbery the day prior.
Before police activated lights and sirens they say the driver sped off, disobeyed a stop sign and was hit by another vehicle.
Police say the driver tried to flee on foot but was taken into custody.
A 52-year-old man is charged with Evade Police, Dangerous Driving, Hit and Run, Driving while Prohibited, and Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000.
BB gun damages window
Saskatoon Police say a window in the 200 block of Penryn Crescent appears to have been damaged by a BB gun last night.
Shortly before 11:00 p.m., police responded to a report of a gunshot and apparent damage to a window of a residence in the 200 block of Penryn Crescent.
No one was physically injured as a result. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Saskatoon Police or Crime Stoppers.
