The Saskatchewan RCMP have released additional details on the mass-arrest executed at a decommissioned school in Richmound on Wednesday.
Romana Didulo, the self-proclaimed “Queen of Canada”, was among the 16 people arrested early Wednesday morning at about 4:30. The crew had been living in the compound for the past two years.
It was originally reported that four replica handguns were seized, but new RCMP information confirms that officers seized 13 imitation semi-automatic handguns, ammunition, as well as a large number of electronic devices, which are now being examined by investigators.
Also, all 16 arrested individuals were released from police custody, but a woman and a man from the group have since been rearrested. The investigation continues, and no charges have been formally laid against any of the arrested individuals at this time.
