The conditions for Romana Didulo include living at a specific residence in Regina, not being able to go to within 50 kilometres of the village of Richmound in southwest Saskatchewan and she is not allow to possess any weapons and must attempt to attain employment or education while awaiting trail. She reluctantly agreed to the release conditions set by the judge. Didulo also selected to have a trial by judge and jury and evidence presented at Monday’s bail hearing is subject to a publication ban.
Didulo and members of her conspiracy group spent two years in a former school building in Richmound, prior to an RCMP search warrant last week when 13 replica weapons were seized.
Didulo’s supporters were in Swift Current court and refused to rise when the judge entered the room. One was ejected from the courtroom for interrupting proceedings.
The next court appearance is set for September 17th to determine a date for a preliminary inquiry.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority has evicted everyone from the decommissioned school citing the condition of the building. It does not include those living in RV’s outside of the building.
