Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes Investigators have been asking the public to help identify the people inside a white four-door crew-cab pick-up truck that may have been parked along the same stretch of highway where a 44-year-old Weyburn woman was fatally shot. Friday night, a bullet entered the SUV she was a passenger in, while it was travelling towards Weyburn, and the Weyburn woman was shot. She died at the scene. The driver was unhurt.
The owner of the white truck was identified on Sunday and RCMP say its presence on Highway #39 is NOT connected to this suspicious death investigation.
RCMP are still seeking tips to identify the owner/driver of a vehicle pulling a trailer which travelled south on a Range Road near where the shooting took place and turned onto Highway #39 around the time of the shooting, heading away from Weyburn.
Anyone who may have seen this vehicle/trailer on September 12 or may know who this was is asked to contact Saskatchewan RCMP.
