Canada-wide protests are being planned for Saturday.

The protests are part of a Global Day of Action broadly aimed at tackling issues around climate change and income inequality. In Saskatoon at 2 o’clock there will be a march winding up at Vimy Memorial Bandstand. Climate Justice Saskatoon says the event is in coordination with groups in over 50 cities across Canada.

The coalition of civil society groups says is an emerging common front to elements of the new Liberal government’s agenda.
