The Regina Police Service says a 19-year-old woman was killed Sunday when a freight truck left the roadway, hit a light post and struck a bus shelter.
The call came in shortly before noon from the intersection of Dewdney Avenue and Elphinstone Street. The victim was taken to hospital where they were pronounced deceased.
The roadway was closed for several hours and while Regina Police Service Collision experts are still investigating the roadway has re opened to all traffic.
