Three teens are in custody and facing charges in connection to the armed robbery of a business Tuesday night.

The incident took place around 9:45 p.m. in the 600 block of 8th Street East which is just off Broadway where it was reported that three males entered and threatened staff with a handgun.

It is alleged they stole product from the business as well as an employee’s cell phone and then fled in two vehicles.

Officers located a suspect vehicle at 33rd Street West and Matheson Drive and another in the 3100 block of 33rd Street West.

A 14-year-old male is charged with Armed Robbery and Breach of Recognizance. A 15-year-old male, wanted on seven outstanding Criminal Code warrants, is now also facing an Armed Robbery charge while a 17-year-old male is charged with Armed Robbery and Breach of Release order. The victim was not physically harmed.
