Regina police are reminding everyone to check their Halloween candy closely after several Regina families reported some suspicious findings following a night of trick or treating.

The latest report came from Northwest Regina in the Fairways West area. The Regina Police Received a call about finding a thin needle-like piece of metal inside a chocolate bar.

A similar call came in on Halloween evening from the Greens on Gardiner area in East Regina.

At this time, the investigation into both of these incidents is ongoing. No one was injured in either incident.
