A 44 year-old man and 17 year-old girl are being charged in relation to a Regina homicide that happened on November 1st.
Police were dispatched to a home in the 1000 block of 12th avenue shortly before 1:00 a.m, where a 19 year-old man was found dead by a gunshot wound. His name will not be released at the request of his family.
As a result of the investigation, 44 year-old Trevor Whitequill is being charged with accessory after the fact of murder. He will appear in provincial court on Monday.
A 17 year-old girl is also being charged with accessory after the fact to murder as well as with knowingly possessing an unauthorized firearm, and possessing a firearm contrary to prohibition order.
She will appear in Regina Provincial Youth Court on Monday. The investigation is still ongoing.
