Last Wednesday Wadena RCMP received a report of a stolen truck that had been taken early in the morning south of Wadena.
Police say they located the vehicle with help from the public. The vehicle ran out of fuel and two people who got out on foot were arrested at the scene.
Saskatchewan RCMP Police Dog Services located a firearm and quantity of suspected drugs.
The 36-year-old driver of the vehicle, Calvin Paquachan from Yellowquill First Nation was in court last Thursday facing six charges including flight from police, unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
And 23-year-old Kaylin Nashacappo from Yellowquill First Nation is charged with possession of stolen property and resist arrest.
