The Saskatoon Police Service Serious Assault Unit is investigating a break, enter and serious assault that took place in the city’s Sutherland neighbourhood.

Around 11:00 p.m. Saturday police were called to a home in the 15-hundred block of Rayner Avenue. They located a 32 year old man with extensive injuries who was transported to hospital.

The investigation indicates several armed men wearing masks entered the home and assaulted the man living there.
