An 86-year-old man from Yorkton died after being hit by a vehicle just after 5:30 Saturday afternoon.

RCMP report the collision occurred on Mayhew Avenue in Yorkton.

The man was transported to hospital where he later died.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. Yorkton RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstruction.
