Patient flow, increasing visitor and patient access needs and safety considerations were all behind a new entranceway for St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon.
St. Paul’s launched a new brand earlier this fall which includes a logo with beacons of light emanating g from it which Executive Director Carrie Dornstauder suggests is the desire to be more intentional including some of the services inside the entranceway.
” So, while it will be a big, brand new bright space for Tim Horton’s, and registration and for people to be greeted there’s also other services and most importantly a new healing centre, a spiritual health centre for Indigenous families.”
Dornstauder says they believe they will receive owner-occupancy closer to December. The project launched two years ago and includes an 8,353 square foot expansion and will also result in relocating Patient Registration, Security and Information Services and the gift shop. More bathrooms are being added as well.
