Saskatchewan RCMP are investigating a suspicious death after a 29 year old woman was found dead in a parking lot in Meadow Lake near the junction of Highway 4 and 1st Avenue West.

Officers received a report about the unresponsive woman, who was declared dead at the scene. She was a identified as a woman from Waterhen Lake First Nation. Her family has been notified.

Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes Unit is investigating with the assistance of the Meadow Lake Detachment, North Battleford Police Dog Service and North Battleford Forensic Identification Services, in consultation with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.

Anyone with information on the woman’s death should report it to RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
