In his Christmas message to the province Premier Scott Moe tells of the light that shone in the sky on the night of Jesus’ birth. He then calls on people to be a light in the lives others in a world where things can at times feel dark.
The Premier suggests spreading spread joy through things like caroling at nursing homes, feeding neighours, donating to the less fortunate and inviting someone over for Christmas who isn’t able to celebrate with their family.
In her Christmas message Saskatchewan NDP Leader Carla Beck encourages people to open their hearts and make the province a better place through acts like doing something for your neighbour, giving to a local charity, or phoning a friend who has had a rough year. She added that doing these things moves us toward the true meaning of Christmas.
