SaskTel is now offering customers a free subscription to Calm, an app that promotes mental wellness.

Greg Jacobs, an External Communications Manager with Sasktel, says the membership is free of charge for any SaskTel customer.

“The membership is free as long as you are a SaskTel Wireless Customer, and it’s available to all SaskTel Wireless Customers and also our digital brand called Lum Mobile.”

The purpose of the Calm subscription is to connect SaskTel customers to the mental health support they need.

“In today’s world, technology does a number of wonderful things. It connects us to our family and friends, work, education and all of those things. This is just another way for us to connect our customers to the supports that they may need through their day-to-day lives to improve their mental wellness and just support them as they move through their lives.”

Jacobs adds that signing up for calm is an easy process.

“Activating your subscription is very easy, you just have to text the word CALM to 42256 and then you’ll get a link that will put you into the Calm app and just follow the process from there and you’ll be able to set up your account.”

The free subscription with Calm will last customers for as long as they are with SaskTel.
