The Saskatoon Iranian Cultural Association is hosting a rally in support of Iranian people on Saturday, January 10th in Saskatoon.

A SICA news release says the event is happening in light of the ongoing situation in Iran, the widespread public protests against the Iranian government, and the complete communication blackout.

It continues that the rally is intended to raise awareness and express solidarity.

The event is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. next to the Co-op Gas Station at Centre Mall.
