A 29-year-old man was injured following an incident late Sunday night in the Border City.

Emergency responders went to a call at 11:40pm on 47th Avenue near 27th Street. Paramedics treated a man for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

RCMP say the victim reports being approached by a man who demanded the keys to his vehicle. There was a struggle and the victim was shot.  The suspect fled in a dark coloured SUV.  He is described as five feet eight inches, heavy set with a medium complexion.
