Fifteen people were taken to taken to hospital, and four air-lifted to Winnipeg, following a bus rollover in Manitoba.
Tuesday morning at 8:35 a.m., Swan River RCMP received a report of a school bus carrying a number of children rolled over while travelling on Highway 10, about an hour east of Hudson Bay on the Manitoba side of the border.
RCMP say it is believed the rollover happened when the driver of the school bus, travelling south on the highway, attempted to pass another bus and lost control. Officers say the bus went off the highway, rolled and then came to a stop when it was right-side up. Road conditions were believed to be slippery at the time.
Four riders, three youth and one adult, were then transported by air to Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg for further care.
