A driver has been charged in connection to a fatal vehicle collision last summer in Saskatoon.
Police say at 8:40 a.m. on July 15, a 42-year-old woman was merging onto Circle Drive from 22nd Street West when she attempted to change lanes to take the Laurier Drive exit. While changing lanes, police say she struck a second vehicle, pushing it into a concrete support structure, and killing the 73-year-old female driver inside.
The 14-year-old girl riding passenger was also transported to hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Now, the 42-year-old accused has been arrested and charged with Dangerous Driving Causing Death and Dangerous Driving Causing Bodily Harm.
