Update:  RCMP advise that as of 4 p.m. Thursday the person of interest had been located and arrested.

Saskatchewan RCMP are investigating a shooting that occurred early Thursday morning in Cumberland House where one person was injured.

RCMP say there will be an increased police presence in the community and officers are currently searching for a person of interest. He is described as a male in his 20s with black hair and brown eyes. He is known to drive a blue 2008 Chrysler 300 with Saskatchewan license plate 215 NGG.

RCMP say if you see this car, do not approach, contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers, or if it is an emergency call 9-1-1.

As well they say it is an unfolding situation and not further details are available but if there is an imminent risk to public safety, the public will be notified.
