A 29-year-old man has been charged by Cumberland House RCMP in relation to a shooting that seriously injured an adult man.
On Friday at around 8am, police received a report of a man who was shot outside a business in Cumberland House. They provided first aid to the victim until EMS arrived and took him to hospital.
Investigators identified a suspect and a search began with assistance of Saskatchewan RCMP’s Police Dog Services. The suspect was found inside of a residence and was arrested without incident at around 1:40 pm.
Preston Crane is now being charged with one count each of aggravated assault and discharging a firearm with intent. He will appear in La Ronge Court on January 26th.
