One man has been charged following an incident that took place on December 19th that led to an officer involved shooting in Saskatoon.
The 25-year-old suspect was charged on January 21st with attempted murder and uttering threats to cause death.
The incident took place while officers were executing a warrant on the 1500 block of Rayner Avenue. During the incident, a member of the Saskatoon Police Service discharged their firearm and the suspect was shot and taken to hospital.
An investigation related to the incident has been carried out by the Serious Incident Response Team’s Civilian Director. The man remains in hospital in stable condition.
