The City of Saskatoon has introduced a new Homeowner Plumbing Permit to support residents completing plumbing work in their single-family homes.
The permit applies to homeowners who are planning on constructing, extending, altering, renovating, removing or repairing their plumbing systems.
The city says all work must meet the National Plumbing Code of Canada and Saskatchewan Plumbing Regulations.
You can apply for the permit if you own the single-family dwelling unit, live in the dwelling, are doing the work yourself and not intending to sell or rent out the home.
Homeowners can apply through the city’s ePermitting platform.
