More Pillsbury Pizza Pops are being recalled due to possible E. coli O26 contamination. The three cheese pizza pops are being added to those possibly affected which also include the Pizza Pops 3-Meat, the Deluxe, the Pepperoni and Bacon, the Supremo Extreme Pepperoni and Bacon.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency advises consumers to contact their healthcare provider if you think you became sick from eating a recalled product. The say to check if you have any recalled product and either throw it out or return it to where you made the purchase.
Food contaminated with E. coli O26 may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Symptoms can include nausea, vomiting, mild to severe abdominal cramps and watery to bloody diarrhea. In severe cases of illness, some people may have seizures or strokes, need blood transfusions and kidney dialysis or live with permanent kidney damage. In severe cases of illness, people may die.
