The Saskatoon Police Service says officers responded to the 2200 block of Easthill at 11:15 p.m. after getting a report from a taxi driver.
The cabbie told police they arrived at the address, and two people came out of the house and pushed him plus one was armed with a machete.
In a news release police say officers located several people inside the home including the person suspected to have a machete. Police say the individual was in possession of two knives, a collapsible baton, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
A 41-year-old man is facing numerous charges including three counts of Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace. The victim was not injured.
