After numerous reports of break and enters in small towns across Saskatchewan, RCMP are now asking the public to help identify a suspect.
Between January 5 and January 8, officers responded to break ins in the Craik, Biggar, and Unity detachment areas, including additional towns such as Landis, Davidson, and Perdue.
RCMP say property was damaged at the break-in locations due to forced entry, and cash was reported as stolen to police. Investigation is currently underway to determine if any or all of these events are connected.
Unity RCMP collected footage of an individual, believed to be male, unsuccessfully attempting to break into a building on 1st Avenue South at 11:30 p.m. on January 7. He was seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, gloves, and a face covering. The male has a distinctive walk, taking short strides and slightly favouring his right foot.
If you have information about these break-ins, or recognize the suspect in the photo or video, please contact your local police by calling 310-RCMP.
