Saskatoon Police have arrested a second person in connection to a weapons investigation from November last year.
At around 4:00 a.m. on November 27, police were called to an apartment in the 800 block of Appleby Drive for a report of bear spray being used inside a unit, as well as a male armed with a handgun. Officers arrived to learn a confrontation had occurred, resulting in bear spray and an imitation firearm being discharged, striking a woman.
Officers located one suspect, a 16-year-old boy, and arrested him without incident in possession of an imitation firearm.
Now, on January 9th, police arrested an 18-year-old man in the 500 block of 20th Street West. He was arrested and charged with Assault with a Weapon, Mischief Over $5000, and breach of court-imposed conditions.
