A 65-year-old man has been charged by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit following a search at a home in Saskatoon.

The search was conducted by members of the Saskatchewan ICE Unit on November 25th, 2025. Electronic devices were examined and seized at the scene by investigators.

Vincent McGowan of Saskatoon was charged on February 3rd with two counts of possessing child abuse and exploitation material.

He was released on court-imposed conditions, and his next court date is February 23rd at 2:00 pm in Saskatoon Provincial Court.
