The Saskatoon Police Service responded to several bear spray incidents that took place over the weekend.
Police were initially called to the 200 Block of 1st Avenue South at 7:20 pm on Friday, where a woman reported being bear sprayed. The suspects had fled the scene.
Then, at 8:40 pm, Police were called to the 100 block of 22nd Street West where a man had been bear sprayed and robbed. He was not able to provide officers with a description of the suspects.
On Saturday at around 7:20 pm, police received a report of a male and female in the 200 Block of 1st Avenue South who were bear spray assaulted by group of youths.
Five minutes later, officers got a report that bear spray was being deployed on a bus. The incident also took place in the 200 Block of 1st Avenue South. No one was seriously injured.
A suspect was arrested in the final incident, which took place at around 7:30 pm on Saturday. The suspect had bear sprayed an unknown man on 22nd Street West near Auditorium Avenue, he was then arrested nearby. The 16-year-old male suspect is now facing charges of assault and possession of a weapon.
Police are continuing to investigate the other incidents.
