The investigation by the Prince Albert Police Service Crime Reduction Team (CRT) began in January when police were told that a man was trafficking cocaine and methamphetamine from a residence in the 800 block of 7th Street East,
Last Friday a warrant was executed at a basement suite in the 800 block of 7th Street East.
Police seized more than 1.5 kilograms of cocaine, 608 grams of meth, 152 grams of fentanyl, more than 1.3 kilograms of MDMA, approximately $12,500 in Canadian currency, Kilo-level drug packaging material, a digital scale and three cell phones as well as a money counter.
Thirty-four-year-old Liban Elmi was in court Tuesday facing a variety of charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, methamphetamine, MDMA, fentanyl, and possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000.
