Saskatchewan’s Advanced Education Minister is leading a delegation of post-secondary institutions to the Philippines and Thailand in hopes of advancing the province’s education and research goals.
The mission kicked off on Friday, serving as an opportunity to create new partnerships for Saskatchewan post-secondary institutions.
Cheveldayoff says, “Promoting Saskatchewan’s post-secondary advantages on a global scale helps meet Saskatchewan’s Growth Plan goals and demonstrates how our post-secondary sector can benefit jurisdictions around the world.”
The team is slated to meet with representatives from government, industry and educational institutions, as well as sign several memoranda of understanding with an aim of fostering international collaboration and creating exchange programs.
The crew will return on February 28th.
