Carrot River RCMP is looking for information regarding the report of a shooting on Red Earth Cree Nation. 

On Tuesday at 2:20 p.m., officers responded and found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital.  

Investigation determined a vehicle, described as a grey Chevrolet Impala, approached the victim, and a firearm was discharged, injuring him. Police believe there were two individuals in the vehicle, which fled the scene of the shooting.
