RCMP have identified a 24-year-old man as a suspect following a shooting on Red Earth Cree Nation. 

Wednesday, Carrot River RCMP were called in to investigate the report of a shooting in the community.

After investigation, police believe Julian Kitchener from Shoal Lake was involved. He is charged with discharging a firearm with intent, aggravated assault, and weapons possession contrary to order and fail to surrender authorization.  

RCMP are actively working to locate Julian Kitchener. He is described as 6 feet tall, 220 pounds, with black hair. His left eye may appear partially closed and is grey, while his right eye is brown in colour.
