The Saskatoon Police Service is investigating following a collision at Idylwyld Drive near the 8th Street East overpass that occurred yesterday evening as the result of a southbound vehicle travelling in the northbound lanes.

Police, along with the Saskatoon Fire Department, arrived at the scene of the collision shortly after 7:00 pm. Firefighter PCPs attended to the two drivers, a 29-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man, and they were taken to hospital with injuries.

Traffic restrictions were put in place immediately following the accident but have since been lifted.
