Classes have resumed after a half-hour lockdown at Tommy Douglas Collegiate, The Shaw Centre, and Bethlehem Catholic High School Thursday morning.
The Saskatoon Police Service says there was an ‘unsubstantiated threat to a nearby business, and schools in the area entered into a perimeter lockdown of their own initiative’, which has now been lifted. Conversely, Saskatoon Public Schools says the decision was made at the advice of the School Resource Officer.
Regardless, police have since cleared from the area. An update will be provided if made available.
