Saskatchewan RCMP Traffic Services removed 21 drivers from the roads last week during their latest traffic safety initiative, eighteen of which had drugs in their system.
Between March 11 and March 15, officers patrolled 2,400 km of road in areas around the La Ronge RCMP Detachment area.
Over the five days, police officers stopped 90 drivers for impairment checks. these checks resulted in 21 license suspensions, including 2 for alcohol consumption, 18 for drug use, and one for alcohol impairment.
Separatley, police officers also issued 93 warnings and 117 tickets, 43 of which were for speeding.
