The Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority of Saskatchewan is warning investors of an online impersonation scam involving a website called the-peridot-dotcom.

The site claims to be associated with Peridot Investment Management, which is a business based in Australia.

The website “the-peridot-dotcom” claims to offer Saskatchewan residents trading opportunities including stocks, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), as well as pre-IPOs and initial public offerings.

No entity using the name “Peridot Investment Management” or the website “the-peridot-dotcom” is registered with the FCAA, which is required to trade or sell securities or derivatives in Saskatchewan.

If you have invested with “the-peridot-dotcom” or anyone claiming to be acting on their behalf, contact the FCAA’s Securities Division.
