The last Thursday of each month the Parktown Hotel plays host to the River’s Edge Wine and Dine. This week’s menu is:
Course 1
Pumpkin goat cheese phyllo bites, grilled zucchini roll stuffed with feta, slow roasted tomato basil olive oil and caper berry, tzatziki espuma
Wine: Mitravelas White in Grey Moschofilero (Peloponnese, Greece)
Course 2
Crab stuffed cheddar bay biscuits with lemon butter, microgreen and basil emulsion
Wine: Alvear Fino Sherry (Montilla – Moriles, Spain)
Course 3
Pistachio crusted rack of lamb with parmesan – roasted almond broccolini and black garlic mashed potatoes
Wine: La Fiole Cotes du Rhone (Rhone, France)
Course 4
Dark Chocolate hazelnuts raspberry mousse cake, orange whipped cream, espresso and mint caviar
Wine: Concerto Lambrusco (Regginao, Italy)
