The Saskatoon Police Service is investigating following a suspicious death last night.

Shortly after 8:30 p.m.Wednesday, officers responded to a report of an injured and unresponsive person in an apartment unit in the 1100 block of Avenue W North.

They say life-saving measures were attempted; however, the person was declared deceased by medical personnel.

Members of the Major Crime and Forensic Identification Sections were called to the scene and are continuing to investigate.
